One click generates a public share link anyone can open; you can also launch your email client or copy an Excel row for spreadsheet tracking.

The Right Tool for Every Bug
Not every bug is the same. BugCapturer gives you three approaches so you can match the tool to the problem.

Static Layout Issues

Buttons overlapping, alignment off, colors wrong β€” one annotated screenshot says it all.

πŸŽ₯ Recording

Hard-to-Reproduce Bugs

Multi-step interactions that trigger errors β€” a 30-second recording shows the exact sequence.

Problems Others Need to See

Turn the report into a public link for colleagues or clients β€” no install, no signup, open the link and locate the bug fast.

Local first,
sharing fully under control.
Capturing, annotating and diagnostics all run locally; when collaboration is needed, share with one click β€” recipients open the link and locate the bug instantly. Data is deleted automatically on expiry.

Local Processing, Zero Upload

Capturing, annotating, recording and diagnostics all happen in your browser β€” content is uploaded only when you actively click "Share" to generate a public link.

πŸ”—

Collaboration in One Click

Generate a public link with one click β€” recipients view it without installing the extension or signing up, locating problems fast with no back-and-forth screenshots.

πŸ›‘οΈ

Auto Redaction, Anti-Enumeration

Tokens, passwords and API keys in URLs are redacted automatically; share links are random short strings that cannot be enumerated and are never indexed by search engines.

πŸ—‘οΈ

Auto-Deleted on Expiry

Anonymous shares are kept 30 days, signed-in 90 days, then cleaned up automatically; signed-in users can also delete shares anytime in "My Shares".

About sharing,
your questions answered.
Common questions about share links, data safety and retention.
Do recipients need the extension or an account to view a shared link?

No. Recipients simply open the link in any browser β€” annotated screenshot, description, environment info and Console/Network errors all in one place.

Is my data uploaded?

Local actions such as capturing, annotating, recording and diagnosing upload nothing. Content is uploaded only when you actively click "Share" to generate a public link.

How long is shared content kept?

Anonymous shares are kept for 30 days; signing up extends that to 90 days for free. Content is deleted automatically on expiry, and signed-in users can delete shares anytime in "My Shares".

Will share links be indexed by search engines?

No. Share pages are set to noindex and never indexed; links are random short strings that cannot be enumerated.

Could sensitive information leak before sharing?

URLs in the report are redacted automatically β€” tokens, passwords and API keys are replaced with *** before sharing. You can also mosaic sensitive areas while annotating.

Is the share feature paid?

It's free. Sharing works without any account; signing in extends retention to 90 days and lets you manage or delete your shares.
